General note concerning international students

Foreign candidates for undergraduate and postgraduate courses are welcome.  Nationality, race, or religion do not influence on admission.  Although the primary instruction language in the University of Environmental Sciences is Polish, there exist parallel courses given in English.  For international students the knowledge of the Polish language is not necessary.  For all courses held for international students the language of instruction is English. Nevertheless all international studens participate in the Course of Polish Language and Culture which is held during the first two semesteters of the studies.  The course is completed with excursions to most attractive Polish cities and regions, as e.g. Kraków/Cracow and Highland region.

Moreover, the University offers aid for the foreign students in arranging all formalities related to their stay at the University.  Academic tutors can assist students with their learning process.

International qualifications from all around the world are accepted.

During the admission process the candidate should declare the language of instruction (he/she may appoint English or Polish).  If the native language of the candidate is not English or Polish he/she should show competence in those languages prior admission to the University.  Alternatively, the candidate may prove his English language competence passing tests at the University of Environmental Sciences.

All applications for undergraduate study should be sent directly to the University of Environmental Sciences.  The address, telephone, and fax numbers are printed on the first page of this Prospectus.

The candidate who is a citizen of a country outside the European Community should contact Polish Embassy or Consulate for receiving long term Polish visa.
