Greetings from the studentI am a student of the University of Environmental Sciences and an activist of the student’s Self Management at our School. Dear colleagues hesitating if to accept the educational offer of our University! Here are some words of our sincere invitation to join our academic family. We are mainly Polish here – boys and girls, men and women. There are also some foreigners among us, mainly Ukrainians and Russians. All we belong to one big students family, strongly integrated with the whole Radom 20 thousand society of students. We appreciate our lectures, labs and trainings, we have friendly relations with our teachers and all the university staff. At the some time, first of all, we are aware of receiving chances of contacts with known specialists and scientists who teach us our profession and share with us their knowledge and experience. The school is demanding but friendly. We are able easily use the University lab equipment, fitness club, library and internet. At our leisure time we can take part in sport activities, cultural events or simply use all the opportunities offered by the beautiful city of Radom with over 200 inhabitants and 600 years history. For most foreigners Poland is an exciting country with friendly and hospitable people, beautiful environment, nice rivers, lakes, mountains and forests and long cultural tradition. Our students have a chance to go for training to beautiful Tatra mountains, Mazurian lakes or forest resorts, where they can combine their professional training and unforgettable experience. We are waiting for you to join us and bring all your values and experience we are eager to know more about. Marika Mikołajczyk, 3rd semestr, postgraduate courses, Environment Protection and Science |
